During warmer weather you might be wondering if cloth is really the right choicer your baby. You don’t want to make them uncomfortable or hot.
The good news is cloth is COOLER than disposables. Despite the bulkier appearance and all the layers you can expect a cloth nappy to keep your baby 2-5c cooler.
How? Simply because it’s more breathable.
The exact difference in temperature will depend on what fabrics your cloth nappies are made from (microfibre will be warmer than cotton, PUL warmer than wool) but all are cooler.
If your little one is really struggling then a bit of nappy-free time in the shade is very cooling. Or if that’s not practical then a flat without a wrap is a good option.
